Adolph Edward Eggen, age 86, longtime area farmer, died of natural causes Saturday January 24, 2004 at the Liberty County Nursing Home in Chester.

Adolph is survived by his sisters Mayetta Olson of Havre Violett Brandt of Kennewick, Washington, and Pearl Moore of Joplin. He was preceded in death by his brother Clifton Eggen.

Adolph was born March 12, 1917 at the family homestead south of Inverness to Harold and Nelsina (Otterness) Eggen. He graduated from Inverness High School in 1937. In his younger years he enjoyed playing in a local band on the hi-Line. His pride and joy was his Gibson Mastertone banjo.

Private family services are pending. Arrangements by Rockman Funeral Chapel, Chester.
