Funeral services for Henry A. Frank, 72, Creighton were held April 4 at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton with Rev. Paul Banitt officiating.

Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Hopkins, Gary Vlashik, Robert Peters, Bill Frank, Ed Altamore and Bob Borgmann. Honorary pallbearers were George Shinker, Kenneth Eyer, Dwight Schroeder, Bob Scheckler, Roy Koppelman, Frank Phillips, Otto Dvorak, Jim Danaher, Paul Larson and Clifford Schreier.

Henry Arnold Frank was born May 2, 1922 at Verdigre to George and Anna (Herout) Frank and died suddenly at his home on March 31.

His youth was spent in Verdigre, where he attended Verdigre Public School, graduating in 1942.

On August 12, 1943 he married Vivian Mefford at Pierce. They lived south of Verdigre for a short time, Omaha and in Knox County since 1946. In 1968 they made their home in Creighton.

He had worked as a carpenter, car salesman, chemical salesman and a custodian, retiring from Creighton Community School in 1983. His skill in building and remodeling houses led to many homes for himself, family and friends.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, having been confirmed at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Winnetoon in 1955.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Carolyn of Minneapolis, Sandra and Herb Hoelzer of Clinton, MD and Debra and Richard Hammer of Page; six grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
