Mrs. Rose Esker Taken By Death


NORWALK, June 3 - (Special) - After being ill since last January, Mrs. Rose Esker died at her home, 32 Woodlawn av, today at the age of 78.


Funeral services will be held from St. Paul's Catholic Church Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock with the Rev. Fr. Forst officiating. Burial will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery.


The descendent was born in Peru and in her youth moved with her parents to Carey. After her marriage she lived in Bellevue for a few years and then moved to Norwalk where she has since resided. She was a member of the Altar Society of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a member of the L.C.B.A.


She leaves to morn her loss two daughters, Mrs. Leon Sissons of this city and Mrs. Otto Hettel of Washington, D.C., and five sons; Walter of Rochester, N.Y.; George of Los Angeles, California; Edward, Jerome and Clarence of this city; twelve grandchildren and eight brothers. The deceased was the widow of Ferdinand Esker who preceded her in death nine years ago.
