Carl Edward Harlow of Don Prewitt Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 30, 2008 at his home in Williamsburg, Kentucky. He was born on August 25, 1928 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late, James Lawrence Harlow and Macy (Jackman) Harlow. Carl was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Helen (Prewitt) Harlow of Williamsburg, Kentucky; a son, Tim Harlow of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Shirleen Meeks of Nashville, Tennessee and Adina Harelow of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Casey Harlow of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Sheila Gilchrist and her husband Kenneth of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Margery Jasper of Greensboro, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Croley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Powers and Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating. Burial will be in the Whitley Memorial Gardens in Williamsburg.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Prewitt, Tim Harlow, Paul Prewitt, James Harlow, Bronson Neace and Kelly Taybron.

GREENSBORO — Mrs. Margery Jasper, 79 of Brookridge Retirement Community, Winston-Salem, passed away in the WFU Baptist Medical Center on the morning of Thursday, February 18, 2010.

A celebration of life worship service will be held in about 5 weeks on what would have been her 80th birthday, March 27, 2010, at 5 p.m. at Guilford Baptist Church, Greensboro.

Mrs. Jasper was born in Barren County, Kentucky, the daughter of Lawrence and Macy Jackman Harlow.

She was a graduate of the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Louisville, Kentucky. She was retired from the Prudential Insurance Company.

She had been a volunteer at Moses Cone Hospitals and Greensboro Urban Ministry.

Mrs. Jasper donated her body to science through the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Joseph C. W. Jasper, Jr as well as all nine of her other siblings born to her mother and father.

She is survived by three sons: Kevin H. Jasper and wife, Joanna; J. Keith Jasper and wife, Karole; and Kent T. Jasper and wife Kim.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Micah and wife, Christian; Bethany; Nathan; Alexander; Ashley Thompson; and Grace Riendeau; and by goddaughter, Patricia Ayodele Buck.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the North Carolina Baptist Children's Home in Thomasville, NC.
