Mrs. Alice Boyer dies at Saranac hospital
Mrs. Alice J. Boyer, a lifelong Tupper resident, died Wednesday, November 12, at 8:20 p.m. in Saranac Lake General Hospital where she had been a patient since November 8th.
She was born in Tupper Lake, the daughter of Denis and Matilda Stanton Bouchard, and attended the local schools, graduating from Holy Ghost Academy and from Central City Business Institute at Syracuse.
For many years she was employed as a saleslady at Ginsberg's Department Store.
For the past several years Mrs. has resided at the Don Smith Apartments, 15 Church St.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Denise McCauley of Oswego, N.Y. and Mrs. Andree Van Kuren of Plattsburgh; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated by Msgr. Edmund H. Dumas, parochial vicar, at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Church, with Father Donald Manfred as concelebrant, and interment was in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Arrangements were with the Richer Funeral Home.
