"A Sad Death"
"Died in Columbia on the 28th day of May, Mrs. Sallie Griffin Moore, wife of W.T. Moore, of Seneca. The cause of her death being general paralysis, of which she had been a sufferer of more than a year. She was in Columbia under the treatment of doctors
when the end came. She was 34 years, one month, and twenty days old when she died. She was brought home, and after an appropriate funeral service in the presence of a large congregation, was laid to rest in
the old Shiloh burying ground to await the resurrection of the pure and good. She
leaves a husband and a seven year old daughter and a host of relatives and friends
to mourn her death. ---A Friend"
