Mr. Clifton "Cliff" Bateman, age 84 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his home in Prescott.

He was born January 19, 1930 in Pike City, Arkansas to Cyrus and Josie Hipps Bateman.

He was a retired salesman with Parwin Chemicals and a member of the Prescott Church of Christ. Mr. Bateman enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family and being outdoors feeding his fish on his pond.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 57 years, Iris "Tot" Harris Bateman.

Survivors include; his son, Jimmy Bateman and Tanya Rogers of Prescott, two daughters; Kristi Latshaw and James of Fulton; Tina Bateman of Traverse, Michigan, brother; Don Bateman of Hope, sister; Joyce Minick of Little Rock and many nieces, nephews other family members and friends.

Visitation, Saturday, March 8, noon to 2:00pm, at Prescott Church of Christ.

Funeral service, Saturday, March 8 at 2:00pm, at the Prescott Church of Christ with Mr. Harley Sisson officiating.

Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel, Director.
