Roger Leon Wade was born May 11, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lester H. Wade and Carol Braby. Following his retirement from IRS and Continental Airlines, Roger lived with hs favorite cousin, Donna Hodgins, in Columbus, Georgia, and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He loved traveling all around the world and on March 21, 2012 he made his final journey home. Pancreatic cancer proved to be the victor in Roger's valiant battle.
Surviving are his wife Claudia de Arujo, Brazil; children, Carloyn Bannister (Brody) of Layton, Ut, Kevin Wade of Roy, Ut and Trisha Blackner (Jacob) of Roy, Ut. Grandchildren: Siara and Aspen Bannister, Jaden and Tayzhia Wade, Toby, Kaleb and Garret Blackner.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his former wife and the mother of his children, Lindaq Stegen. Mourning his death are siblings: Kenneth Wade, Sheryl Flinders, Ralph Wade, Couglas Wade, James Wade and Janice Wade. Also surviving is his stepmother Marie Wade, and step-siblings: Risa Ashment, Rick Tolman, Chrystal Walker, Jayne Tolman, Steven Tolman, Blair Tolman and numberous nieces and nephews.
