a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's
Hospital Marshfield, after a
brief illness. He was admitted
to the hospital July 13.
Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Thursday at St.
Alexander's Catholic Church in
Port Edwards with the Rev.
John Brey officiating. Burial
will be in the Port Edwards
Municipal Cemetery.
Mr. Werner was born in
Edgar July 5, 1928, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Erich Werner.
He married Beatrice M.
Obermeier Jan. 14, 1950, in
Wisconsin Rapids, and had been
employed in the finishing room
at Nekoosa Edwards Paper Co.
until his recent illness.
Survivors include his parents,
Rt. 1, Nekoosa; his wife; five
