Agnes M. Glenn, a Red Cross worker during World War II, died Friday at Lewiston Rehabilitation and Care Center from causes related to age. She was 84.

She was born Jan. 22, 1912, to Per and Hilma Anderson Pearson at Nora, about five miles northeast of Troy, Idaho. She was raised in the Troy area and attended school at Pleasant Hill School and Troy High School.

She worked as a hired girl for various families on the Palouse, and American Ridge near Kendrick. She married John (Bruce) Glenn Nov. 21, 1936, at Moscow. They lived in the areas of Kendrick and Leland then settled in Troy in 1948.

Her husband died in May 1981. She later lived in Moscow, and then moved to the Lewiston Care Center in 1988.

A member of the Nora Social Club, she also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Joanne Swanson of Craigmont; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Five sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Monday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel at Lewiston.

A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Moscow City Cemetery. The Rev. John Blom, retired, will officiate.
