Services for Fred Zuccarello, 78, of Newark will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Megaro Memorial Home, 504 Union Ave., Belleville.
Mr. Zuccarello , who died Tuesday in the Forest Hill Health Care Center, Newark, worked in maintenance for 21 years for the Newark Housing Authority before retiring 16 years ago. He was also a self-employed painter in the Essex County area for many years.
He served with the medical detachment in the Army National Guard during World War II.
Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Zuccarello lived most of his life in Newark.
Surviving are sisters, Concetta Haight and Josephine Alagna, and a brother, Rudy.
