Born April 27, 1931 in Oswego, New York, he was a son of the late Orlia D. Dunsmoor and Bernice Bullock Dunsmoor. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Gertrude Joan Dunsmoor; survived by his son, Jack D. Dunsmoor, Jr. and wife Sally; daughter, Barbara Dunsmoor Myall and husband Dee; grandchildren, Jon C. Dunsmoor, Milledge (Trey) Thomas Pitts, III, Taylor Dunsmoor and Travis C. Pitts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 400 River Road Columbia, SC 29212.
