Clara Manuel Warren, 89, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Monday, March 2, 2009 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Warren was born in 1918, the daughter of the late Lovell and Lula Manuel. She was a homemaker, and had been a sales clerk at the Yard Stick until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of Kernstown United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of Middletown High School, Class of 1937.
Mrs. Warren married Wayne B. Warren on May 14, 1941 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Surviving with her husband, of Winchester is a daughter, Beverley Yebernetsky of Hedgesville, WV; two grandchildren, Benjamin Wayne Yebernetsky of Winchester and Autumn Claire Yebernetsky of Hedgesville; She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Russell, Mattie Willey and Jane Branner, and three brothers, Joseph Manuel, Giles Manuel and Jimmy Manuel.
A funeral service was held 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Clay Knick officiating. Interment was in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County.
Pallbearers were Ray Stelzl, Tommy Dorton, Roger Hill, Gary Lantz, Ben Yebernetsky and Greg Yebernetsky.
The family received friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
