DENISON Services will be Wednesday for Charles N. Adrian who died here late Monday, just a week before he was to celebrated his golden wedding anniversary.


Anniversary preparations were changed to funeral plans with services set at 4 p. m. in Bratcher-Moore chapel.


Adrian, a resident of Denison for 49 years, was head painter at the car shops for the Katy railroad here but a strike in 1911 ended his railroad career. He went to work for the postoffice and when he retired 32 years later, had been mail superintendent for the final 10 years.


He was married at Quitman, Sept. 28, 1903, to Susie Scoggins.


Survivors include his wife, and a daughter, Mrs. Rayford Lance, Houston.
