Mary married Robert E Lee Allardyce 4 July 1887. They had three children, all girls, Ada Anges, born 18 November 1888, Euphemia Margaret, born 8 November 1891, and Catharina Ann, born 14 October 1893, all born at Galveston. Mary and the three girls were all lost as a result of the Galveston Storm 8 September, 1900. No trace of them or their home was ever found. Robert was in Beaumont, returning home when he was stopped by the severity of the storm, one of the worst in recorded history, and his life was spared as a result.
