Her last name was spelled as Broshar, not Brashear.
There is no connection between her Broshar family and the Brashear family.
They are two separate families. However, last names are sometimes misspelled in land deeds and other documents (particularly older ones), because the people could not read or write, and so a phonetic spelling was used. This always confuses people who are not genealogical researchers. But sadly, it also provides false information to everyone else. Please take a close look at her brother Zachariah's grave, as it is easy to read. The last name is clearly spelled as "Broshar." You will also see it spelled as "Broshar" on many of the other graves, on photos, and on documents, of people in this line...children, nephews, etc. Just click around and check.
