Ora Lee passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility in Statesboro. She was born in Screven County but lived in Portal, Ga. where she and her husband owned and operated Edenfield Grocery and Hardware for over fifty years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Ora Lee enjoyed cooking, growing flowers and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Edenfield, parents William Reginald and Ola Daughtry Brunson; sisters Evelyn B. Hancock and Eunice Williams; brother, Bill Brunson.
