Thomas Henry "Tommy" Vinning, 74, of Alton Station Road, Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

He was born August 7, 1930 in Mercer County.

He was a brick mason, a member of the Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort, a WWII Army Veteran and an avid antique collector.

Survivors include: his wife, Hazel Mae Taylor Riley Vinning; three daughters, Helen (Larry) Brown, Jolene (Jerry) Bailey, both of Lawrenceburg, Kathy (Rick) Harrison, Lexington; one daughter-in-law, Onnie Riley, Nicholasville; two sisters, Lois (Bryan) Harthcock and Sarah Taylor, both of TX; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, J. B. Riley, a grandson, Vincent Riley, and a great grandson, Kenny Curtsinger.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 22, at Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, with Rev. Don West officiating. Burial was in Sand Spring Cemetery in Anderson County.

Pallbearers were Larry Brown, Jerry Bailey, Scott Brown, Rick Harrison, Danny Robinson, and Manson Goodlett Jr. Honorary bearers were Everett Cummins, George Beckham, McKinley Riley, and Vernon Sanders.
