Vera Irene Jamison Mears, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, age 87, passed away at Draper Care Center on January 7, 1998.

Born August 15, 1910 to John H. Jamison and Arda H. Lind in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Harry E. Mears on January 21, 1929, who preceded her in death. Mom enjoyed working in her yard and loved her family very much.Vera is survived by her son, Marvin (Quata) Mears; daughter, Lorene (Darrell) Olsen; 10 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Earl (Ellen) Jamison, Lorin (Pat) Jamison; sister, Irma (Leonard) Holesapple. Preceded in death by husband; son, Jack R. Mears; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 1998 at approximately 3:15 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 So. Redwood Rd.). Friends may call one hour prior to services at Memorial Estates Mortuary (5850 So. 900 E.).

The family would like to express a special thanks to Draper Care Center for their special care of Vera.
