Came to Baltimore when she was 15 years old and worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Later, became a telephone operator for the C&P Telephone Co., retired from C&P as a supervisor.

Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Leonard J. Ruck Funeral Home, Inc. 5305 Harford road (at Echodale) on Saturday at 11 A.M.. Interment in Parkwood Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM
