Klamm
John F. Klamm, 76, a longtime Miles City resident and businessman, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital.
He was born March 19, 1899, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Jacon and Elizabeth Klamm.
He attended school in Lincon and served in the Navy during World War I.
Mr. Klamm served his mechanic apprenticeship for the Burlington Railroad and worked as a master mechanic. for the Milwaukee Road.
Retiring after 25 years.
In 1934, he started his own business as a tavern as a tavern, garage and gas station owner.
He was president of Klamm Incorporated.
He married Elizabeth Burnter Dec. 20, 1920.
She died in 1974.
Mr. Klamm was a member of the Elks and Eagles Lodges, American Legion and the Legion Last Man's Club.
Surviving are two sons, John Jr. of Miles City, MT., and Thomas Klamm of Boone, IA.;
three daughters, Joyce Propst of Walla Walla, WA., and MaeBelle and Idella Herczeg, both of Vancouver, B.C.; 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of J.E. Graves Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leslie Payne officiating.
Burial will be in the Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT., with military rites.
