CLAUDE B MAYBORN: Kinsman; 71, builder & Masonic leader, who died Saturday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. MrMayborn was born 29 Sep 1887 in Kinsman, a son of LeroyH & Laura Burns Mayborn & was a lifelong resident of Kinsman. He was a well known builder & contractor until his retirement last January. He was a member of Kinsman Presbyterian Church. Active in Masonic orders, MrMayborn was past master & district deputy of Gustavus Lodge-442, F&AM, past high priest of Kinsman Chapter, RAM, past-patron-443 OES & past noble grand & district deputyof IOOF. He was also a member of Al Koran Shrine-Cleveland, the Shrince Club & Ali Baba-Warren & the Grotto Consistory-Youngstown.
Besides his wife, he leaves a dau: Alice Louise Gochneaur-Aurora & son LL-Kinsman; 4 sis: MrsGrace Dunning-Columbus; MrsLuEllen Madsell-Greenside CA; MrsLeta Templeton-Lakewood & MrsLucy Fouch-Canton; 2 bros: William-Bradenton FL & Glenn-Ashtabula; 6 children & a gr granddaughter.
Services were held Monday afternoon at the McCurdy Funeral Home-Kinsman. Burial was in Kinsman Cem. Pallbeareres were: AB & Henry Birrell, Lee Wanamaker, Paul Welch, Nelson Richards, Chan French & 2 honorary pallbearers: Robert Wallace & Chris Hobart.

MYRTLE TIDD MAYBORN: Kinsman; 65, wife of ClaudeB Mayborn died Saturday afternoon [4-09] at the residence following a long illness. Mrs Mayborn was born 11 Sep 1882 in Wayne Twp OH, a dau of Ezra & Mary Underwood Tidd. She had resided in Trumbull Cnty for a number of years. Surviving are her husband; a son Leolin & a dau: Alice Louise-both of Kinsman; 2 grandchildren; 4 sisters: Mabel Thurber-Williamsfield; Belle Shorthouse-Youngstown; Ruth Gilder-Farmdale; Esther Burr-Cortland.
The body was removed to the McLean Funeral home at Kinsman where services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon [4-12]. The services will be conducted by RevMarion Bordeax-Youngstown assisted by RevCharles Albright-Kinsman.
