Daughter of the late Haywood Rogerson, Sr., and Sadie Bullock, she was the widow of James Patrick "Pat" Wynne, Jr. (married on November 1, 1952), who died on September 23, 2011. Additionally, she was preceded in death by brothers, Alton Rogerson, Haywood Rogerson and W.A. Rogerson. She was survived by her daughter, Denise Wynne Jones (Tim); son, James Patrick Wynee, Jr. (Libba); sisters, Ruth Brown (Larry) and Faye Kirkman (John); brother, Jerry Rogerson (Faye); five grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Williamston, NC, where her funeral was held on June 19, 2012, with The Rev. Karen Kelly officiating.
