"Jacob Hiestand died on Thursday at his home on the Marietta and Mount Joy turnpike, aged about 72 years. His wife died some years ago. He was the proprietor of the Washington House, Maytown, for a number of years. The funeral will take place this Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Maytown."
