Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
A native of Eubank, he was born Feb. 9, 1922, the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Laura Tyler Tackett. He was a member ot Masonic Lodge No. 908, Ozark, Ala., and was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also a retired Civil service employee at Fort Campbell.
Survivors include his Wife, Fayrene Patrick Tackett; two sons, Dale and Duane Tackett, both of Hopkinsville; one daughter Donna Blankenship, Hopkinsville; three brothers, J.M. and
Jasper, both of Eubank, and Ben Tackett, Louisville; one sister, Vivian Hampton, Franklin, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
