Hallenbeck, an honored and respected citizen of East Worcester, died at his home in that village, Thursday, the 27th inst., after an illness of about two years with carcinoma of the stomach, aged seventy-two years. Funeral services were held, Sunday afternoon, the Rev. R. S. Boyce of Schenevus, a former pastor, assisted by the Rev. F. H. King and the Rev. H. H. Smith, officiating. Interment was made in the village cemetery. Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. George Winans, of Oneonta and many other friends to mourn his departure."
