W. H. ABLE DIES AS RESULT OF FALLING
Aged Liveryman Suffered Fractured Hip November 14.
Injuries suffered in a fall at his home November 14, caused the death at 2:00 yesterday afternoon of William H. Able, 84 years old, 1404 Hepburn Avenue.
Although he suffered a fractured hip in the fall, the injury was not regarded as serious.
Mr. Able was a native of Elizabethtown, coming to Louisville when a young man. For many years he was in the livery business and in 1877 was elected Sheriff. For several years he represented the Eleventh and Twelfth Wards in the Kentucky Legislature, and later was a special Indian and disbursing agent for the Government at Western reservations under President Grover Cleveland
He is survived by four sons, Barret, George L., Beverly C. and William H. Able, Jr.
