He was a bricklayer, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Crimson Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pope Cemetery in Graphic under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya; three daughters, Michelle Matty of Alma, Misty Morse of Omaha, Neb., and Shannon Morse of Fort Smith; three sons, David Morse Jr. of Mountainburg, Kevin Morse of Alma and Matthew Smith of Van Buren; a stepson, Steven Smith of Rudy; a sister, Janice Beneaux of Omaha.; three brothers, Larry and Danny Beneaux, both of Alma, and Bobby Beneaux of Fort Smith; and 15 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Smith, Anthony Keith and Charles and Howard Mahar
