Her father died when she was three years of age and her mother when she was twenty-eight. She lived with her widowed mother and eight brothers until about 1888 when she came to Nickerson, Neb. There she met and married William A. Gannon, Oct 8, 1891 who preceded her in death, Feb 15, 1927.
From this union were born six children: Edna (Sparkes) Bertha (Wilson, Roy, Rena (West), Blanche (Lindberg and Helen (Palles).
She leaves besides her six children, fifteen grand-children, four brothers and four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. Mr & Mrs Gannon lived on a farm at Wisner, Nebraska from the time they married until 1901. Subsequently they bought a farm two miles north of Inman where they lived for thirty years.
