Died- At his home near this place Dec. 13, Hezekiah Eakins. Mr. Eakins had been cutting wood and came to the house about 11 o'clock and complained of pains in his breast, and died before any of the family knew he was dangerously ill. He was a member of the C.M. church, a kind father and husband who will be missed very much. His remains were interred in the McGuire cemetery.
