Lillian Marie Waples Hague, 97, died at 5:12 PM Sunday, Oct. 24,:2004, in Heritage Healthcare, West Lafayette. Born Oct. 16, 1907, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Ruf Waples. She graduated from St. Boniface School and attended Indiana Business College. In 1928, she married Lester O. Hague, in Lafayette, and he died Jan. 21, 1973.

Mrs. Hague, a lifelong Lafayette resident, was a homemaker. She also worked as a dental assistant and in housekeeping at Purdue University. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy "Dottie" Jackson (husband Clarence) of Lafayette and Ruth Ann Neuman (husband Jack) of Brookston; a son, William E. Hague of Lafayette; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Hinton; a sister and a step-grandson.
