LOWERY, Mrs. Sarah Catherine Clites

Mrs. Sarah Catherine Lowery, 84, Corriganville, Md., died December 7, 1967 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md., where, she had been a patient for five days. She was born January 18, 1883, at Hyndman RD 1, a daughter of Wesley and Catherine (Witt) Clites. Her husband, Harris Lowery, preceded her in death. Surviving are four sons, Lester, Hyndman; Oscar, Baltimore, Md.; Clifton, Bedford; and Leo, of Homewood Addition; four daughters, Alvenia Johnson, Ellerslie, Md.; Mrs. Gladys Lowery, Mrs. Martha Lowery, and Mrs. Hilda Gray, all of Corriganville, Md.; two brothers, Walter Clites, Hyndman RD 1, and Jesse Clites, Ellerslie, Md.; and a sister, Pearl Emerick, Fairhope. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
