NORMAN STANLEY ``SKIP'' BAYLOR REIDSVILLE - Norman Stanley ``Skip'' Baylor, 80, of 1326 Cotswald Terrace, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at Main St. United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington.
A native of Morris Park, NJ. He was a son of the late, Moses A. and Flossie Gulick Baylor and had lived in Reidsville for the past three years, moving here from Burlington. He was a retired employee of Fortress Insurance Co., a member of Main St. United Methodist Church and a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Burlington. A charter member of Alamance Country Club, he was also a member of Pennrose Park Country Club and Reidsville Elks Lodge 1723. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford M. Baylor.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Cheek Baylor of the home; one daughter, Wanda B. Fuller and husband, Dan Fuller of Kingwood, Texas; one step-daughter, Jane P. O'Neal and husband, James O'Neal of Greensboro; one step-son, Mark Perkinson and wife, Phyllis Perkinson of Reidsville; five grandchildren, Michelle D. Fuller of Houston, Texas, Vincent N. Fuller of Humble, Texas, Kathryn J. Fluharty of Greensboro, Cole Perkinson and Jane Allen Perkinson both of Reidsville; and one great-grandchild,
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 1998, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times, will be at the residence.
