The Chickasaw Messenger learns that Dr. J.M. Sadler was killed near Cherry Creek, in Pontotoc county a few days since. He had a difficulty with Prof. S.D. Brown before the killing, and it is said got the better of the fight, and was waylaid and shot as a matter of revenge.
