LA CROSSE - William Charles Kober, 71, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita. Born June 1, 1907 in Barton County, he married Velma Schwindt Aug. 30, 1938 at Greeley, Colo.
He was a retired farmer and lived in Rush County most of his life.
Survivors include widow; daughter: Mrs. Judith Case, Garden City; brothers: Leonard, Kinsley; Alfred, Bison; Gus, Jerome, both of Great Bend; sisters: Mrs. Frances Ochs, La
Crosse; Mrs. Lena Zimmer, Hays; two grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse; the Rev. Richard Schinstock. Burial in La Crosse Cemetery.
