Harold E. Berkenmeier of Canyon Lake , TX was called home by our Lord on June 13, 2012 at age 70. He was born on June 15, 1941 to Carl Edwin and Thelda Helen Berkenmeier in Cherryvale , KS . He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth , and his children, Lori McPherson, Jodi Call, both of Canyon Lake , TX , and Mark Berkenmeier of Pearland , TX . His four grandchildren are Chris Lentz, Andrew Call, both of Canyon Lake , TX , and Ryan and Haley Berkenmeier of Pearland , TX . His nine siblings are Pat Hendrick, Fran Herlock, Ann Forsythe, Roy Berkenmeier, Wayne Berkenmeier, Mary Breeze, Kenneth Berkenmeier, Rick Berkenmeier and Clifford Berkenmeier. He touched everyone around him with his love, sincerity and kind heart.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 17 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Sattler, (Canyon Lake) TX . Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18 at 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Canyon Lake with interment following at Cranes Mill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Baptist Church of Canyon Lake.
