Stanley Holbrook Steenblik passed away on June 11, 2012 at the age of 84. He was born August 16, 1927 to Fredrik J. and Hilda H. Steenblik. He married Rosemarie Ellis on September 20, 1949. Stan served in the U.S. Army, 1950-1952. Stan led an active life as a milkman for Steenblik Dairy. Went to work for Henderson Rim and Wheel in 1977 and retired from there in 1992. He loved ATV riding, sightseeing at the Grand Canyon or river running at Jackson Hole.
He is survived by his daughter Debra S. (William) Owen. The family would like to give special thanks to Avalon Care Center in Bountiful, The Family Tree Assisted Living in West Point, and Hospice of Utah for the amazing care they provided to Stan in his last days.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012, 12 noon at the Rose Park 4th Ward (East Chapel) 760 N. 1200 W. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave and N Street.
