Allen A. Horn, 77, Kansas City, Kan., passed away Sunday, May 26, 2002, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Joseph A. Butler & Son Funeral Home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Horn was born in Bakersfield, Mo. He was an Army veteran in WWII, serving in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He was awarded three bronze stars. Mr. Horn worked 20 years for Inland Cold Storage.
He leaves his wife, Christine Horn, of the home; and seven children, Jo Ann M. Smith, Merriam, Kan., Victoria M. Motsenbocker, Phoenix, Ariz., Arthur M. Hinson, Roeland Park, Kan., Dale Hinson, Hillsdale, Kan., Michael Hinson, KCK, Margaret C. McCoy, Phoenix, and David Hinson, Liberty, Kan.; a sister, Helen Steele, KCK; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
