A. J De Wolfe (Andrea Juda) aged 34, left us on August 1, 2007. Although her years with us were few, she drank deeply from the cup of life. Born in Toronto December 18, 1972 to Rick & Jane, she was active and energetic from the start: swimming with the Scarborough Swim Club, playing saxophone and trumpet at Malvern C.I., skiing and rollerblading in Banff, and playing women's hockey leagues in Ontario. Wed to Jamie July 8, 2000, she soon suffered a severe back injury in an accident. Nonetheless, she endevoured to run across Ontario. Her physical injuries halted this dream. Still, her adventuresome spirit kept her ambition strong. A kind, generous, loving person, a friend to any and all, A.J actively pursued helping others: as a national lifeguard, a lifeguard instructor, her work with the WSIB, volunteering with the Red Cross in Cozumel, and studying to become a paramedic. Her happiest moments were putting a smile on someone’s face with a dose of her famous silliness, or delivering Christmas presents to disadvantaged children in Mexico. She left us too soon, but she lived her few years to the fullest. A.J your warm, fun-loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. at Ridley Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross or to plant a tree in Memory of A.J, please contact Memory Woods Canada at 1-866-214-2080.
