Delbert Leo Bright, 95, of Mayfield died Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at his home.
He was a member of High Point Baptist Church, American Legion Post No. 26 and the American Legion Color Guard. He was retired from the maintenance department of Murray State University and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Parsons of Huntsville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Patrick Workman of Mayfield, and Paul Parsons and Luke Parsons, both of Huntsville, Ala.; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Cavitt Bright; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters. His parents were James Patrick "Bud" and Ora Mae Courtney Bright.
