He was born in Nappanee, Ind., the son of Dr. C H & Savilla Rohrer Schwartz. He was a retired potter.
Mr. Schwartz was first married to Eva Lower who is deceased. On Jan 3, 1943, he married Minnie Fender, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. R W Hammond and Mrs. William Scherrer of Coshocton, Mrs. J L Koubeck of Anderson Ind., and Mrs. Eugene Gorsline of Cleveland; one son C U Schwartz of Cincinnati; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and a brother W W Schwartz of Pasadena, Calif. One daughter, one sister and three brothers are deceased.
Services in the Dawson Funeral Home will be conducted by Rev. W O Keeler at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
