Funeral services for Rosebud Crisp, 96, of Sulphur Springs were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Clint Stephenson officiating. Burial was in Peerless Cemetery with Mark Gregory, Jeff Orwosky, Jesse Orr, David Orr, Billy Dan Lindley, Ben Anglin, Don Lindley and Charles Boyd serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Crisp died at 7:27 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 19, 1900, in Peerless, the daughter of Jacob Marion and Alice Caroline Strother Lindley. She married Mack Nece Crisp Jr. in 1919, in Peerless. He preceded her in death. She later married Howard Crisp in 1961 in Wichita Falls. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Crisp was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Ruth Boyd of Little Rock, Ark., and Mora Brendorff of Richardson.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Thresa White, Grace Lindley and Rachel McLead; and two brothers, Bascom Lindley and John Lindley.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
