Ella Fern Davis died April 10, 1992 at her home in North Loup at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. Davis was born July 4, 1910 at North Loup, NE to Bert and Estella (Fuller) Williams. She attended rural school at North Loup and graduated from High School in 1928. After graduation she attended Kearney State Teacher’s College where she received a teaching certificate. She taught rural school in Sherman County. On March 1, 1933 she was united in marriage to Aubrey Davis and to this union were born a daughter and four sons.

Survivors are her daughter, Eulala Williams of North Loup; sons, Arden of Scotia, Rolland of McCool Junction and Curtis of Tucson, AZ; three sisters, four brothers, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Aubrey; three brothers and an infant son.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 14, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church in North Loup with interment in Hillside Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Burdick officiated. The organist was Jeneane Abel and the singers were Karl Davis, Doug Davis, Kevin Williams, Merlyn Williams, Jason Wentz and Kent Timmons. The Ord Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
