Sarah Frances Butler, dau of George Wesley Butler and Lois Elmira Gibbs was born 25 June 1859 in Union Co Ohio and passed away 29 June 1904 on the farm west of Nekoma, Kansas. She married Gorge Washington Cooley on 11 Apr 1876 in Rush Co, Kansas. To this union were born seven children; Amy Z., b. 1877; Elmer M., b. 1878; Alman G., b. 1883; Myrta E., b, 1884; Lester H., b. 1886; Estella Z., b. 1889; Ancel U., b. 1893. Alman George proceeded her in death in 1884 and is buried in the Locust Hill Cemetery in Rush Center, Kansas.
