Robert F. Nolan

Robert F. "Bobby" Nolan, age 75 of Eminence, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He was the son of the late Claude Cecil and Ethel (Adams) Nolan, owner/operator of Nolan's Body Shop in New Castle, a member of New Castle First Baptist Church and an Army Veteran following the Korean War Era, serving two years in Germany.
He is survived by one son: Mark Nolan of New Albany, Indiana; one brother: Jimmy Nolan of Pulaski, TN; companion: Wilma Bartley of Eminence; two step-daughters: Gina Bohannon (James) of Campbellsburg and Julie Franklin (Scott) of Pleasureville; two step-sons: Tim Bartley and Darrin Bartley both of Pleasureville; seven grandchildren and niece and nephews of Tennessee.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Nick Coleman of Sulphur. J.T. Stinson assisted.
Interment was in New Castle Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Allen Nolin, Edward "Happy" Pollard, Tom Payton, Wendell Berry and Joey Clubb. Active pallbearers were George Bell, Tim Bartley, Darrin Bartley, Scott Franklin, David Nolin and Roddy Nolin.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus.
