JEAN HAGAN ARTIS, 86, of Huntington died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Morris Memorial Nursing Home. She was born April 15, 1917, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late William F. and Verna Grass Hagan. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, in Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance with the Rev. Hubert Harvey. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and retired as executive secretary at INCO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Austin "Pat" Artis. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. S. Brooks (Alice) Dean of Huntington, W.Va., and one brother, Dr. W. T. Hagan of Norman, Okla.
