Elsie Ann (Gillham/Peabody) Enlow passed away on Friday June 8, 2012. She was born in Kansas City, MO. May 5, 1923. She was the granddaughter of a famous KCMO founding father, Robert Gillham (of Gillham Park and Gillham Road recognition). She graduated from Westport High School. She became a SPAR (Women's Coast Guard) during WWII and married her husband of 54 years while they were both in the military. She later became a GS-5 while working in the civilian corps of engineers in Kansas City, MO, where she designed maps during the Korean War. She went on to work for the Western Electric K.C. Plant and retired from Western Electric/ Bell Labs in Westminster, CO. She is survived by her three children, Patsy Bartley of Canon City CO, her son Danny Enlow of Lone Jack MO, and daughter Doris Davis of Broomfield CO. She will be interred by her husband's side, William E. Enlow, in the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Colorado.
