Funeral services were conducted from the Lyon Funeral Home Tuesday, January 28 at 2:30 p.m. for Mr. Bunn Scott Armstrong, 83 years of age, who died at the Rosary Hospital Sunday morning from a cerebral hemorrhage attack that he suffered Friday night. Services were conducted by Rev. Louis Lightfoot with burial in Brookside Cemetery. Mr. Armstrong was married July 13, 1927 to Lucy Hay, a Taylor Countian of the Palestine community. They lived in Illinois for 20 years, moving back to Taylor County 14 years ago. At the time of his death, they were living at 102 Lowell Ave. He was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother, Jesse Armstrong, of Illinois, and several other relatives in Taylor County and Iowa. Honorary pallbearers were members of his Sunday School Class of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Everett Rafferty, Emanuel Philpott, Theodore Bowles, Edward Payton, James Maupin, and Gowdy Maupin.
