"Ruby Lee" as she was affectionately called was united in marriage to Robert Lee Quick. Known as "The Rock" she was a strong model in her family. Ruby took pride in planting flowers and watching them grow. She was a member of First Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Quick, one daughter, Evangelist Mildeen Albea; one brother, Albert Stevenson.
She leaves to cherish her memories six children; Anthony Stevenson, James Stevenson, Sarah (Billy) McFadden, Loria Stevenson, Betty Jackson and Tonya (Kim) Davis all of High Point; two brothers, Addison Stevenson and James Stevenson both of High Point, NC; one sister, Maggie Hubbard of High Point; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; two special friends that like daughters, Dorothy Leath of Greensboro, NC and Devon Littlejohn of High Point; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, June 16, 2012 at First Emmanuel Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 1:30pm until 2:00pm at the church. Burial will be in Floral Garden Memorial Park. The family will also receive friends at 1005 N.
