Henry W. Bacon, aged 68 of Magnolia died Tuesday. He was a retired merchant, a former teacher, a charter member of the Kiwanis Club and an elder and Sunday School teacher of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Prairie Belle Sanders Bacon; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Newton of North Carolina; four brothers, H. D. and Clyde Bacon, both of Malvern, M. C. Bacon of Mississippi and Gladsten Bacon of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Smith of Mississippi and Mrs. Gladys Bunn of Missouri, and two grandchildren. Funeral was Thursday by Lewis Funeral Service.
